I would like to thank Mike O’Donovan for the fantastic and very personal set of photo’s you will view in his “ward” Mike worked at the Three Counties Hospital from 1957 until 1973. Mike was the editor of the hospital magazine called ‘Fantasia’ from 1970 until he left in ‘73.

On the front row are the following. The first on the far left is Mr Thornton, the Principal Tutor. Next to him is Mr Routledge, the Chief Male Nurse, Then Miss Casey, Matron. On the far right is Miss Billington, Deputy Matron and next to her is Doctor Ford who was then the Medical Superintendant.
